I’m not sure if this is an APP issue or phone issue, but the app frequently logs me out after I’m finished using it. This requires me to log back in, sync the bow, and download hundreds of shots almost every time I go to use the app (I’ve memorized my bow’s serial number at this point). This is the only real “problem” I’m having.

This next part is an observation regarding shot score and how MOA is measured. Your app defines MOA score as steadiness held 1 full second before the shot breaks. I think MOA is weighed too heavily on the shot score (65/65 points of 100). Sure, steadiness is important in regards to where you’re aiming when the shot breaks, but 1 full second is actually a lot of time for movement when you add both conscious aiming and unconscious flinch. Unless it only measures the flinch, it becomes a much less meaningful data point compared to torque and bow level. This is why I think it’s weighed too heavily.

Finally, “aiming time” seems like an arbitrary number that shouldn’t be scored, but still welcome as data for the shot.

Shooting with the device was very enjoyable and challenged you to learn from each set in a way that a good coach would provide feedback. Shot Sense lives up to the Mathews motto of “Elevating the Archery Experience” and is worth the price in savings of shot execution feedback that a coach would provide.
